Where can I book an appointment?

You can book an appointment at our service points via our central phone number or through our easy-to-use and conveniently accessible online booking platform, which can be found on our website.

When can I book an appointment?

For the 2024 winter tire change season, the booking option will be available on our website starting from Monday, September 16th, at 8:00 AM.

Appointments will be available starting from October 1st, with time slots available on weekdays between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.

In September, only October appointments can be booked. November appointments will become visible from October 1st or when the available October days are fully booked.

⚠ It is important to arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled appointment at our service, where our colleagues will be waiting for you at the reception.

How many days in advance can I book an appointment?

You will be able to book an appointment up to 8 calendar days in advance.

What should I expect, and how long does the tire changeover take?

The duration of a tire changeover may vary by service location and typically takes 30, 45 or 60 minutes.

Therefore, we ask you to prepare for the waiting time corresponding to your booked appointment!

*Tire changeovers performed by Mercarius that take 60 minutes also include a vehicle inspection, which covers checking fluid levels, lighting, and the condition of the brakes. This extended inspection significantly contributes to the average tire change duration. The goal of the Mercarius team is to ensure that our customers can continue their journey with a thoroughly inspected vehicle, ensuring greater safety!

Where can I find Mercarius' service points?

• M3 Tengerszem street site: 1142 Budapest, Tengerszem street 59/A
• M5 Gyálistreet site: 1097 Budapest, Gyáli street 48.
• M5 Illatos street site: 1097 Budapest, Illatos street 44.
• Mercarius Debrecen: 4032 Debrecen, Külső Böszörményi street 8. 

Can I choose which service center I want to go to?

Yes, during the seasonal tire changeover, you are free to choose which of our service centers you want to use.

After providing your license plate number, you will see the calendars of our service locations in Budapest and Debrecen on the next page. Here you can choose the most optimal location and time for you.

⚠ However, there are special cases when you CANNOT choose the service location freely:

1.) Requesting a driver service
The online system will automatically offer you the available time slots at the service point closest to you to maximize the efficiency of our driver colleagues' capacity.

2.) Rescheduling an Appointment
During your initial booking, your vehicle’s summer tires are delivered from our warehouse to the service location you selected and stored there until your chosen appointment. As a result, if you later want to reschedule, you will only be able to choose from the available time slots at the preselected service location.

3.) Special Lift Requirement
Some light commercial vehicles require a four-post lift, which is not available at all of our service points. If you want to book a tire change for such a vehicle, you will only be able to choose from the available time slots at the service points we designate.

How do I know if my booking was successful?

Your booking becomes valid once all the necessary information has been filled out and submitted. The online platform will confirm the successful booking with a „Booking Successful” message.

⚠ Following this, we will send a confirmation email to the contact information you provided. Until you receive this email, the booking is not considered successful. It may take a few minutes for the message to arrive, so please be patient!

What happens if I miss my appointment, what should I do?

If you see that you are going to be late, please let us know by phone!

⚠ We would like to highlight that in case of delays or extremely dirty tires, we cannot guarantee the tire changeover!

How long will the 2024 winter tire changeover season last?

It is expected to last until november 29th, but we reserve the right to make changes.
